This Video was created during the first year of University I attended. I obtained a piece of perspex, a knife, and went at it. The perspex was then flooded with ink, washed, left to dry, and then scanned at a high resolution.
Frames were taken at random from the scratches in the perspex, and then sequenced. For the sound track, I scratched the strings of the guitar.
This was then projected in a dark room. Probably not as great in video form.
Now this is disturbing. :D I like it! Actually.....you just gave me an idea. I'm having a small animation class this year...last year I had issues with the background music the most.
It is heavily distorted guitar string scratching. The disturbing side effect is just a bonus!
That's something new. i kinda liked it.
check my blog. Digital illustration it's called moography.
Was the purpose of the video and sound to cause seizures? because on me it failed, but not by much.
No, but I will consider its usage in such situations for the future.
