Today, I continued again my coffee painting #20. This time, I tried to paint a portrait of Jeff Bridges by using coffee and black watercolor. He is an actor and singer who get nomination in academy award. Long time I haven't painted a portrait with coffee, so I was interested to try it again.
Hari ini saya lanjutkan lagi lukisan kopi yang ke 20. Kali ini saya mencoba melukis sebuah potret Jeff Bridges dengan mencampurkan media kopi dan cat air warna hitam. Dia adalah seorang actor dan penyanyi yang meraih nominasi academy award. Sudah lama saya tidak menggambar potret dengan kopi, jadi saya tertarik untuk memcobanya lagi.
Like usual, I use Nescafee kopi powder and put it in a palette with different volume. I usud A4 concorde paper size, brushes and black watercolor.
Seperti biasa, saya menggunakan bubuk kopi nescafe dan memasukkan ke dalam palet dengan takaran yang berbeda. Saya menggunakan kertas concorde ukuran A4, kuas dan cat air warna hitam.
I painted step by step from sketching to finishing, I will give you the process of dokumentations.
Saya melukisnya secara tahap demi tahap mulai dari sketsa hingga finishing.
I made a sketch with 2B pencil and then I blocked it with watery coffee on all surface of paper.
Saya membuat sketsa dengan pensil 2B, kemudian saya memblokingnya dengan kopi yang encer pada semua permukaan kertas.
I started from the top at his hair with combination coffee and watercolor.
Saya memulainya dari atas yaitu di rambutnya dengan kombinasi kopi dan cat air.
Next, I painted part of faces like eyes, nose and mouth.
Selanjutnya saya lukis bagian wajah seperti mata, hidung dan mulut.
The last step, I continued in his shirt with mix-up coffee and watercolor.
Tahap terakir, saya lanjutkan pada kemejanua dengan mencampurkan kopi dan cat air.

Ah you're making me want to buy coffee again just to paint with it. I love how earthy it is. The wash you did is beautifully done! I think the touch of black watercolor gave it extra depth too. :) Cool steemit painting too. XD
