This drawing was loosely based on a dream I had. In my dream I was walking in a vast and gray desert the landscape littered with rocks and cloaked in this haze. I came to these deep pools of mud where people would come long distances to bathe in. As I waded in I was surprised at how it felt silky and warm not grainy with large particulates of dirt. I stopped when the mud came to about my collarbone only to realize it was quicksand. So I got out and as I walked on I kept finding pics of dead stuff on my clothes like fish and dragonflies. Eventually I came to the realization that the mud had some organic compound that when it comes into contact with skin makes people hallucinate. I can remember thinking that I should beware not to follow the hallucinations into the desert. Lest I find they vanish into vapor and I'm left in the middle of the desert with no way back, where the elements than take me. I looked to the horizon to find an alpine tower with fire burning at the top. The rocks that litter the landscape are transformed into statues and stone men that seem to move. Then I woke up.

This is mind-buggling. I like that you also made an illustration, nice style as well.
Thank you, I would also like to do another piece from on this dream based on the mud pools because they looked really cool kind of like tiered rice fields.
Yes i agree. And probably add interpretation of dream also. Your art is really interesting, what medium did you used? May i know? Thanks
Thanks I've been drawing as long as I can remember. For this one I used Micron pens for the line art and a touch twin marker cool grayscale set for the shading.
