Hi, guys!
My art practice is not only creating finished artworks, but also using my sketchbook for seeking ideas and sketching from imagination. Or sketching for practice, just trying to catch how another artist did what he did:) By the way the last one I find really useful, you always improve your technique when you copy someone else. When you just look - it's one level of perception. But when you try to repeat - it's completely another one. Here I would like to share some pages from my sketchbook 2017:)
I wish you all the best and will be happy if you'll support me with vote:)
Love, Inber
Glad to see how your skills improves with time and how you walk in the direction of the good practices as mentioned here . I hope you enjoy this little gift! :)
WOOOOOOOOW!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!:)
Lovely colors. I like the blush on the skin.
I imagine using other people's ideas and work as "sketching practice" greatly increases your own technical skills... enables you to "visualize" better when trying a new subject matter.
Very nice sketches, by the way!
Thank you!:)
Great work @inber. Thanks for posting as it also helps to motivate me to share more of my own artwork and get energised to do some drawing today (nice rainy day for it actually 😊) Steemit is great place for sharing and motivating! A win for everybody as we all grow as people.
I agree with using other people to learn technique, it's the way we learn everything from writing to drawing to riding a bike. People often say, "I wish I could draw!" and my first thoughts is always, "How much have you practiced?" It's the learning part of the copying and then following it up with practice and passion that is the most important otherwise you will never feel like you're growing as an artist. Stay awesome 😊
Rainy day is the best one to make some sketches, then take a nap XD
People often say, "I wish I could draw!" and my first thoughts is always, "How much have you practiced?" - EXACTLY!!! Then they say "Ohhh, you're so talented" and have no idea that there are hours, weeks, months and years of practice behind the "talent"
Wooow this woman is really talented.. Keep showing off your dexterity
@inber
They are all great but some of them are the scary...:)
I see you don't need much to get scared then:)
So cool! I do oil paintings maybe you can draw inspiration from some of my things, be sure to check it out if you want to! Good work!
Great stuff @inber, upped and resteemed :D
These sketches are great, I like to copy images, draw fixing what is already done but it is very complicated to imagine something from scratch, I guess that eventually I will try to put that technique into practice.
Blessings.
incredibly talented work
Amazing sketches @inber. You are very creative.
Love Ackbar. It's a trap! Can't believe they killed him off...
