Hello Everyone
I am sharing today some of my sketches... for almost 5 months I haven't made a single sketch but recently I missed doing it...And I have started again
LIFE ON PAPER
What I've learned from sketch is you can get it as perfect as you want, and it's never going to be perfect. Horatio Sanz
I draw when I feel happy, or sad, every sketch I have done has a story behind it!!
As far as I remember I have been drawing, first just some random scenery, then doodles. But I was never good at it. Somewhere along the way, maybe after my fashion degree, I became interested in the idea of sitting on the streets and sketching whatever I saw. Then I got more interested when I started going to the mountains, it just felt like I need to paint. (will share my travel journal next time)
Instead of taking pictures, I liked painting it.. It felt more close. I enjoy the process of drawing, looking at the details, like –the small tree standing at the corner in a beautiful landscape which your camera might have captured but your mind hasnt, But when you draw you see it, you know the colors, you know the birds sitting on that tree, you know how it completes your landscape! You start appreciating things!
It’s liberating.
Sometimes you can feel trapped and have no way, and at times like that sketching has made me feel powerful. It takes my mind off, I could share with the world and still do not have to talk about it, I feel I can deal with things my own. For a person like me who is not very expressive, cant talk about me even with my close friends, it works as a therapy.
My office space looks much better now :)

ooooh how i love this one:
"You can get is as perfect as you can, but it will never be perfect"
Haven't heard this one before, yet it is so true.
I really love the play with contrast in these
Thank you @edgarsart I am so glad to know you.. I loved this quote, I earlier used to do sketch and throw it out, always found some of the other fault, now I just leave it.. For an artist it's never good enough I guess

OMG what a detailed work. I know a guy who also draws stuff like that. It a time taking work which required lots of patience. After watching your work it's like you are best in what you do. Totally impressed with your skills.

Wao, what a great sketch. You must have spent a lot of time before you can achieve these sketches
Hmmm.. all my childhood i guess!! :D
These are so cool! It reminds me of all the "new" coloring books that recently hit the market for adults. You've got some serious talent @itravelarts. Thanks for sharing.
Oh, and I love that quote at the end by Henry Ward Beecher!!
aww.. thank you so much, Now that you mention, yes I can so much relate to it... love and a big hug <3
These are gorgeous! Agreed how it takes you in your own world without having to talk about it <3
thank you sweetheart.. loads of love and a squishy bear hug <3
Amazing drawings !!! I can only empathize with the way you feel when you escape through sketching, I do the same thing, but creating music rather than painting, then, your works represent music, that's pretty close to perfection to my eyes...
we are same then.. music is something I can't get away with, even my sketches are inspired by it!! now really curious to hear your music... Thank you ..much love
Maybe we are... Do you mean that you love music but you can't get away with playing a musical instrument? if that is the case, I'm sure you can, maybe you just haven't found the right instrument, yet.... I'll be very glad if you could listen to some of my music (advertising was not my intention).... Thank you for everything.... Returning all the affection...
There is freedom in your sketches. They seem abstract at first glance, and then they begin to tell a kind of story, the story of what is going on in your life at the moment. Wonderful that you can express your feelings and thoughts through art.
wow, I am so glad you understand my work! Thank you for your appreciation! Much love
I love your work! You are incredibly talented. I especially love the 3D aspects of your work, like you can fall into the page. Glad you're sketching again! I like to doodle every now and then, it's a great tool for relieving stress, and for me it's like a meditation. Keep it up!
Thats really sweet, I want to improve and do some large canvas, but too afraid to ruin it..but all the encouragement here makes me believe in myself and maybe I can work on it.
i would love to see your doodles. and so true, its like a meditation.. Thank you.. Much love and power
These are really cool. I like the one with the guitar.
Thank you... one day I was super happy and no one to tell how I felt, and that's when I drew this..:)
Very imaginative and interesting art, @itravelarts :)
thank you dear <3
Nice art.
