Vincent Van Gogh, Café Terrace on the Place du Forum, Arles, at Night
One of the most well-known paintings of Van Gogh and the first painting in which he used starry backgrounds, alongside Starry Night Over the Rhone and The Starry Night.
What i love so much to this painting is its magical atmosphere in which it makes you dive, its quietness (even it depicts something lively and uproar), its calm beauty. It makes me want to be there, at Arles (France), in the late of the nineteen century, or, most probable, nowadays. This place is still there...so it's a great oportunity to go there and enjoy staying at that terrace, in a starry and quiet night.
