Sloppy cabbage ! LOL....

I always liked slaw as a child, but the cabbage was still raw in that. Back then though, if you cooked cabbage, YUCK...don't ask me to eat the slimy stuff ! I have since grown up and now I like cooked cabbage, all the better if it has some slices of smoked sausage, red wine (or beef broth), a little garlic and some Italian herbs in it. But plain is fine too. Slice off a fat cabbage round, brush with olive oil or garlic oil, salt, pepper and feta??? I'm in ! I guess I really like it about any way you can think to make it now, except for something my family now calls marinated slaw. For some reason, I still turn my nose up at that.

I am still a bit scared of different types of cooked cabbage but I guess the difference is that now I will try it often with positive results. Still love it Brett in a funky slaw though!
