Thanks! I thought they were cute as well! Cute was the exact word I thought when I first saw the image!
You might find this interesting. I did not stake the tomatoes. Instead I surrounded them with a short piece of fencing and let morning glory vines grow on the fence. As the tomato plants grew the morning glory wove itself onto them and is strong enough to support the tomato plants and keep them off the ground.
As long as there is something to support them...and it works.

Yeah I thought it was pretty neat. I liked how the morning glory looked on the fence so I left it. Accidental discovery on my part but one I plan to use again.
