For me personally rain is something that we will not forget the pleasure when he come. And rain always give its own grace for the creature who really need it and know how to be thankful for the favors that God has given us.
Rain is always there though sometimes he makes us restless and afraid but the rain can also bring happiness for us all and always so on. If we want to think about what's going on behind the rain. Rain means a grace that descends to make the drought of the drought. Rain can also mean an opportunity to get a drinking water source (of course by filtering it out first).
Rain can be meaningful as well as an allusion. Yes, a hint for arrogant humans that their arrogance was defeated by a water movement. Yes, the water looks a bit trivial. Water every day encountered. No ripples. No waves. It's as if the water always obeys. Quiet.
However, water can be not trivial. Not trivial if we often underestimate. Water can be a vicious predator, wherever we are. Water can turn into a predator for its prey.
