Happy Throwback Thursday! I want to share some of my really old stuff and laugh at how amateur it really was. Mind you, I was only 14 years old at the time. Even then, I loved to draw fan art, dragons, and pretty girls. If you're not impressed with these, please take a look at my other posts to see what my art looks like in the present.
Raptilos

Here's an original character of mine. I was inspired by the Mega-Man style with the over sized boots and forearms. I would later update his design to be more original. He's a reptile, but I didn't any specific species in mind when designing his look. Any suggestions?
Daisy Flower Petals
This was my very first gift art to AlanCorona featuring his OC, the popular amphithere, Daisy. Drawn in silver marker in my sketchbook.
Another really REALLY old drawing I made using Microsoft Paint in 2002. I was in my infancy when it came to digital drawing. This is a fan art of Gaspard, one of Javanshir's original characters from way back in the day. It was one of my first attempts of drawing his dragons in 3/4 viewpoint.
Zarr Sketch
This character's name is Zarr, and he's suppose to be a mutated and evolved lizard endued with dark magical powers. The was the best backstory I would come up with at the age of 10. When I think about it, his design is more of a hybrid of different creatures. I see horse, dinosaur, and some other horned lizard references.
Someday I would like to revisit this character. Maybe I'll draw him again. It's been way too long.
Krystal
My very first furry crush was Krystal from Star Fox Adventures: Dinosaur Planet. It's fitting then, to share with you my first drawing of Krystal. It was one of my very first pieces of digital art, colored in Arcsoft Studio Paint using my mother's laptop.
There a lot more where that came from. Seeing my old stuff really make me appreciate how far I've come as an artist. It also inspires me to draw these characters again. Wouldn't it be nice to reboot some of these and draw them again with my current set of skills and style?
I love seeing other artists creative journeys! It al looks really good. It shows a little snap shot of how your style developed to what it is now I look forward to seeing how it will develop further in the future!
I loved paint when I was kid, I would spend hours creating pictures, I still use it heaps for creating digital artworks.
Thanks for sharing
Peace ^^
