RE: How to Paint a Realistic Wedding Portrait in Acrylic

in #art7 years ago

Very wonderful.

From a Female perspective (Mine), I loved every moment of it - that is to say, I enjoyed seeing the progress of it. How it changed from picture to picture; I used the Scroll bar to slowly examine ea. perspective.

Really - on #3 where u specify that u employed the use of a #Pastel pencil (thanks 4 mentioning the SEPIA shade of Pencil - think I'll have to try that ! ). The FACT the sepia tone matches the skin tone so well... that's a significant point.

Since I love #art & #painting myself, I appreciated yr Explanation of the glazing technique.

Thank you for the kind words and thoughtful comments, Janashby. Yes, it's true that using something that's already sepia toned in my painting sketches has saved a lot of time in trying to convert the color from grey scale to flesh tones--it's an easy transition. Looking forward to sharing more with you...have a blessed day!

Yes, this was a good tip (a true time saver).
Thanks for replying.

Think I might have to follow u.
