Great Work! Who knew how much prep work is involved in a project like that - except an artist such as yourself. Is that standard procedure or something you learned by trial and error, so to speak?

Thank you! There are certain procedures you use for every painting, but each project is different, so you have to adjust accordingly. Normally, I would just buy a canvas rather than stretch it, but at that size I couldn't find a stretched canvas locally for the right price. So I figured it would be most cost effective to just stretch it myself.
As far as the design work, usually I can just paint right from a photo, but the customization is fun, even though it takes more time. With that, the client is getting more than just a duplicate of a photo. They are getting an original custom work of art--their unique idea brought to life.
