Since I can remember, my heart has always belonged to art, to creativity. That innate desire to create something is constantly in my mind, burning through the tips of my fingers as it itches to be released into the world. To create is to share a piece of your soul, it is a state of total vulnerability. You remove a small piece of yourself, from the deepest, darkest reaches of your being, you draw out what was once hidden, throwing it out into the vast unknown. It is a piece of yourself which you will never get back, you just stand in wait, hoping that someone will grasp onto that essence and share a piece of their own self with you.
This is interesting how little people understand this: "To create is to share a piece of your soul..."
@gretum it is hard to communicate it when people don't fully understand the creative process. Blood, sweat, tears, time... it all goes into creating, so naturally you're going to leave part of yourself in the process.
Indeed you are right
