Here we are again folks, ART EXPLOSION, THIS IS WEEK 60! The theme this week is SWEET!

Here is a definition:

This is fairly open ended, so you can use either interpretation :)
Once again we have a special sponsor and guest judge: [@vachemorte] The total prize pool this round is 20 STEEM!

Please note that once again the duration to submit will be two weeks so take your time and make something great!

The Rules

Make some art (one entry per person and please new art only)
Make a post of your own for your entry (add artexplosion in the tags)
In your post describe your medium/process a bit, and show a few process images
Please note that we are no longer accepting writing/poetry
Link it here in the comments obviously so I can find it.
All entries must be submitted before Saturday MARCH 23rd at 3PM EST.

We'll be choosing the winners based on whatever tickles and touches us the most!

This is not a requirement but it would be a nice gesture to view the other entries and upvote them if you like so we can support each other and pass this on to any artists or friends you think may be interested :)

I'm jumping in with a response, @juliakponsford, correct me if I'm wrong.

This contest doesn't take photography entries anymore, but digitally created art using any program and include photographic images that are worked into a piece, are absolutely welcome.
Check out last weeks winner, she included a self portrait in her entry, juxtaposing her photographic image onto the digital art field, to depict the theme shadow self.

Thanks for responding you are pretty spot on! I do accept photography but it's a bit more tricky to verify it was actually done for the contest, if people submit some story and process pics of the shoot with a date verification etc. I would prefer that but I kind of take it on a case by case basis :)

This presents a real challenge. Every thing I do tends towards scary looking. Unless I try very hard, I have to really focus to achieve cute or sweet.
I automatically thought Kawaii Ohimesama, when I read this.
Do you have a brains trust that thinks these up each week? You never seem to run out of ideas.

I know what you mean about trying to keep it sweet, I have a tendency to veer in that direction myself. Nobody said it couldn't be dark sweetness though :D
