If I knew how to write I would be an writer, thats how I like to joke sometimes.
But I found this place pretty interesting and since I don't have blog or something similar I decided to join this community and try to share my thoughts, works and stories with other members.
My name is Dunja Jung, living in Zemun, Serbia. I am a painter mostly working in watercolor technique, but also some others as well.
Usually people are afraid of watercolour, meaning when you put colour on paper there is no coming back and no place for mistakes, but I just love the freedom that watercolour technique gives and moment when colour joins with water on paper is a kind of magic moment.
First rule when you paint watercolour is, don't be afraid, happy accidents can be adorable.
There are rules also, but first one is practise and paint. Still I am searching and experimenting with different sorts of paper, brushes, paints...and I think it is like everything in life, individual. What suits you most you have to find it yourself.
This is the first time I am trying to write instead of paint, and hope that sharing my work, thoughts and tips will be interesting for people of this community.

Welcome to Steemit! I’m not blogger either or someone that used a lot of social media in the past. Even more so since I’m still trying find my place here. Thank you for sharing your artwork with us.
water color and ink and ballpen art, even colored pencils (it doesnt erase well) have this point of no return but its totally fine, it only means you have one shot so do it right... what I dont like about watercolor is not mixing right and not getting the right colors or the hassle of setting up the water, brushes, cleaning! even with acrylics it pressures me. all the more with oil paint cause its linseed oil and paintthinner... haha but its an enjoyable experience.
@jacinta.sevilla, we all find ourselves in some material and technik , I believe work and joy we have is most important staff, and in what way we express it, doesn't matter while it's good 🌝 I found myself in watercolor after maaaaany others :)
well mine is with colored pencils but im still exploring
