I'm a graphic designer and paintings I do, are way too disciplined at times. I found this interpretation of yours very refreshing. The hint of color strategically placed in the monochrome painting remind me of the classic movie "Schindler's List" where the little girl appears at strategic times with her red coat. Ohhhh sorry for answering so late and thank you for your feedback. I firstly was not sure if the red in the hair is a little bit overdone, because for me it points to strongly to violence and hurt. Now I am ok with the finished picture :-D
I have never seen the film Schindlers Liste, because I tear up much to fast .... but I will check some film stills (and naturally your work, I am curious)
