Yesterday I became very excited, when I found this great contest:
I could hardly wait to draw! For the first entry, I have chosen the orange-grey colored bird.
This is my complete colorpencil drawing:
How did I get this result?
First, I drew the silhouette and some details, like the eye, feathers and claws.
Then I began to draw with colorpencil. I Used orange, black, grey and brown.
At last, I shaded the background and highlighted some details.
Good work.
Nice work tnx for sharing
Beautifully done!

An absolutely amazing entry into my little contest @kalemandra!
We are so fortunate to have someone of your ability enter and provide us with such a great example of the process you used for completing your drawing. I will definitely be studying this to help improve my own drawings. :)
Thank you so much my friend!
I'm so glad you like it! I should draw much more. I need some motivation, because I'm a bit lazy.
I would definitely love to see more drawings from you in future @kalemandra and I'm sure there are many others who share my sentiments! :)
I'm really glad you had fun as I have had fun taking part in the #colorchallenge so it is nice to return the favour. :)
Have a great day my friend!
Very nice result !
so beautiful artwork! Thanks so much to share the step by step of this awesome bird ^_^
AMAZING! @kalemandra This drawing came out so nice. I love your choice of textured paper too, it gives it a natural wood grain vibe and a sense of depth without losing the fine details.
Great entry for @tonyr contest. Will you be doing the lion too? I would love to see that.
Wow, a real tallent!
I am a tree planter getting ready to plant!

This is absolutly stunning!!! The texture is beautiful and the way you blended it all together is gorgeous!
Wow!!! This is really good! It takes a lot of patience to finish this, I suppose. How long did it take you to finish this piece?
