I think it's most suitable for the single frame category, but I'll let the judge decide. ;)I was so excited and happy to make my entry for @corpsvalues' 12th Weekly #Cartoon-off Contest. Because the deadline is Sunday and I'm (again) a bit busy with my personal stuff and work, this entry came out quite simple and rather quick.
Sketch
After a quick anatomy search came up with the initial sketch. Decided to draw one of my characters Phery Mallory from the Inexplicit story.
This is somehow a continuation of a present I did for my friend and co-author of the story.
Adding Ornaments
After the basic composition started thinking about some ornamental design and combining it with some tulle material.
The floral ornaments were used from one of my previous illustrations of Alagart Sadmore - another character from the Inexplicit universe.
Adding Background Color
The color was inspired from another character called Idao to create a dark atmosphere. It would also contrast more with Phery's skin tone.
Basic skin tone
Adding Shadows on the skin
For the shadows I used Paintable Skin brushes with different opacity and size.
Adding highlights
This time I used the freckle brush from the Paintable Skin set.
The lineart was too dark for this composition, but I really wanted to keep it so later decided to add a Gradient Overlay on top.
Final Version
Adding some shadow behind my character and it's relatively done.
Phery Mallory and my other characters are part of The Inexplicit Project made by my colleague Rossy and me.

Thank you, @c-squared! Much appreciated! ^.^ <3
The pattern work is very intricate and lovely, katalina. Though it's too bad that I can't see her face from this angle XD.
Thank you, dear! <3 I could've make it better, but had only couple of hours free... X.X
Yeah, I can't see her face either. XD Such a shame, such a shame. But that's the beauty and also the curse of the 2D images. XD
That looks like a really cold and intricate garment, bet she got some heads turning with that :)
