It's a Ubiquetopus. I see them frequently when snorkelling at Kingscliff. I think they are native to Cudgen Creek. They swim really well, but swing up in the Pandanus trees that overhang the creek when humans approach.

I Like it @Katyclark very clever and a nice touch of magic realism thrown in.. Cudgen Creek sounds very boggy !
Thank you :) not boggy at all, but crystal clear and sparkling, blue water with white sand - you will have to visit and check it out http://www.enigmavisions.com.au/blog/2014/10/a-selection-of-our-kingscliff-beach-and-cudgen-creek-images-enigma-visions-landscape-photography/
WOW.. not what I was expecting.. I could definitely see a Ubiqetopus swinging through the trees there. I was thinking it was going be more like Berkley's Creek, where the Bunyip lives ! I'd love to Snorkel there, looks a bit like Byron, oh I, just mapped it.. it is just up the road.. a very beautiful part of the world. lots of great memories of NSW
