Hello,
Its been a long time that i have posted something here.
So here is a protrait of South Indian Actor named Yash. This picture was done regarding his next film which is yet to be released.
I have used watercolors for most of the parts and color pencils for the highlighting or to add some details to the painting.
While painting the face , firstly i applied the base skin tone which was slightly on the yellowish side, then i added the darker shades and moved on to applying the mid tone colors. Since there is no much skin showing it was completed quickly.
For the hairs, I've been trying different styles . In this painting i used the fine strokes to create the hairs and for the beard i first painted complete black and then added the highlights using white and brown orcher.
And lastly for the clothes i painted the lighter shade first moved on to the mid tone and finally added details using the darker tone.
So this is how i did this painting, and this the Reference picture that is used
