This was a huge challenge of mine that Ive been putting off for awhile. If you havent noticed, Ive usually been doing mechanical parts only in ink because Ive never painted metal parts with watercolor. I really wanted to so this in watercolor though so I sucked it up and pulled in some metal watercolor references and went at it! I. Am. So. Happy. With how this turned out. All yesterday Ive been crazy patient with the layers, taking tons of breaks throughout the day to keep myself fresh and to allow it to dry completely before adding another layer. What patience brings, guys!
Each brush had its perfect part within this painting. No loose hair and water absorption did not disappoint! Highly recommend their beautifully made brushes!
