This was my first attempt at this type of scene which I managed to do quickly with pastels and charcoal then smudging them with my fingers, It gets messy but its good fun and allows you to create images and ideas quite fast.

I added some red to it to see if it would work but not sure I like it but I'll put it in anyway.
Thats really cool @kevmcc :) You should take the final photo and mess around with the colour intensities, would make it look even more vivid. Really nice :)
