Nowadays, when we are shopping in malls, do we pay attention to phones with small screens or small TV's? We mostly look for phones with 5.0-6.5 inches screen or TV's with 50-70 inches screens. Why? Well, they are big, shiny and they support 4K, 8k and 16k! They cost fortune but we buy anyways. Must be some mental thingy we all have...
In art, I believe the first and foremost priority should be the message from the authors heart. It is up to the author to decide how to deliver it. Complaining about why Da Vinci didn't draw Mona Liza on 200cm x 150cm canvas is quite childish, at least for me. That picture may seem very small to you, but it's influence on world is tremendous! Small things matter! =)
Btw, I am from Mongolia. About 2 weeks ago I read your post about your trip in my country. I loved it! Following you since then! :D
I'm not complaining and you thinking that I'd be "complaining" about anything that one of the greatest masters of humanity ever produced is indeed childish from your side. It was said in a very joking way, as you might have noticed from my post about Mongolia, I do like to be sarcastic and humorous quite a bit. Written words' tone and intention are created in reader's head, not writer's, that's the downfall of written communication, which you certainly understand. I never said anything different that the message and if it's from the heart matters the most, it always obviously does, no need to repeat that. But it's simply something you can't deny and what I saw countless times in my years of art career is what I've already said: you put two heart pieces next to each other, one big and one small, and I will bet all I have on the fact that the big one will attract everyone infinitely more. If you prove me the opposite not by talking but by an actual experience (film it please), I'll pay you a ticket from Ulaanbaatar to Vancouver, business class, and invite you for a chic dinner ;) Mongolia is absolutely amazing country! Wanna go back and I will!
Loved your humorous and sarcastic pre-ending xD
Anyways, fair enough, I'll see what I can do =)
