Good day steemit community! This is my second art tutorial painting. Hope you enjoy!

Here are the step by step procedures in painting this artwork:

Materials:

Sketch pad
Charcoal pencil
Poster paint
Paint brush

Step 1: DRAW A LIGHT SKETCH

Draw a quick outline and as much as possible do it in a light sketch. In that way, it will not be hard for the minor corrections. This will be served as your guide.

Step 2: PAINT THE OUTLINE AREA OF THE EYE

Start to paint the outline area of the eye using a brown paint. Just do it lightly.

Step 3: TRACE THE EYELID AREA

Slowly trace the eyelid using black paint.

Step 4: PAINT THE SCLERA AND IRIS AREAS

Paint the sclera and iris areas of the eye in a horizontal motion using the mixture of black and white paint.

Step 5: PAINT THE PUPIL AREA

For the pupil area of the eye, apply a few brushstrokes defining the trees in the background. And then for the sun, use the light mixture of yellow and orange paint.

Step 6: PAINT THE EYE LASHES AND EYEBROW AREAS

At this stage, slowly apply brushstrokes for eyelashes in a horizontal motion and eyebrow in a vertical motion using black paint.

Step 7: PAINT THE LOWER EYELID AREA

Do quick vertical strokes for the lower eyelid using black paint.

Step 8: FINAL TOUCH-UPS

This is the stage for the final touch-ups and minor corrections. If needed, you can more highlight any of the parts of the eye by lifting some color.

Finally you're done!
