Today I had a couple hours of free time and decided to try my hand at painting the galaxy. So I looked up some inspiration on Instagram and Pinterest. There are so many different variation that he galaxy has to offer and everyone paints so differently. This is watercolor on 140lb cold press paper.
It took me quite a bit of time to get the layers I wanted down and to get the black where I wanted it. I had to step back a couple of times and let it dry before continuing.
Once I got the colors how I wanted, I used white acrylic paint on a toothbrush to make the stars and a cotton swab to blot some of them so they appeared bigger.
I am happy with my final product! I hope you all enjoy, thanks for looking!!
This makes me want to explore the stars. Beautiful. This is like a guide of the galaxy.
