(I learned this technique from Master Prof. Ernst Fuchs). Underground is painted with oil color. When is dry, continue with egg tempera. Let it dry and glaze with oil color. This one is somehow special, there are 2 different pictures on this little painting (18 x 24 cm).
One side - Aliens in the garden.
Turned around looks like some alien animal.

Ja, ich habe mich auch dafür entschieden. Schau, angeblich ein menschlicher Körper mit schweren Mutationen... Ja, ja ... für mich gibt's 2 möglichkeiten: entweder ist "Ata" ein Alien oder der Skelett ist nicht echt. Sollte er echt sein, müssen wir im garten nach kleinen wesen suchen- er ist 15 cm gross! :-)

I used to do this same activity with my mom and her paintings. I like your painting, and I like it both ways as well. I don't think that ever happened with one of mom's paintings - it seemed more obvious one way than the other. This one looks great both ways. : )
