Hello guys! It has been way too long since I've done pixe lart, so the last 2 days I've been doing some practice. I've gotten a little rusty at it. Also there is a chance that there will be new Pixel Art Weekly contest by @jonny-clearwater soon, and I'm looking forward to it.
It's going to be October soon so that reminded me of #Octobit as I've missed it last year :D
Octobit is an art prompt list for pixel art. I saw this too late so I didn't participate then, but it turned out to be as a nice warm up practice. I've still got many more to go and I hope to finish them before the end of the month so that I can also join the 2018 Octobit ^^ There is no prompt for 2018 yet but the previous one was released mid September so there is still time left. The point is to draw 1 drawing per day following the prompt list. You can mix between cute and not cute if you wish.

Here you can see the roughs I did before the actual drawings. It's better to scrap a bad sketch than to spend too much time on it. (That clown is wayyy too creepy xD )
Here are the rough background of each prompt, as you can see I kept them quite simple. I'll probably do some backgrounds exercise separately once I'm done with these.
I tend to draw with very desaturated colors and low contrast, so once I'm done with the drawings I use some adjustments to make the drawings "pop out" more. This makes a huge difference and it's especially noticeable at a small scale. The above images are x10 scaled up.
