Abstract Painting on Wood Wrapped Canvas

Here is a painting I worked on this evening. Sometimes I feel they get too busy. I tried to hold back a little on this one and just leave it. I never know. The Artist Dilemma. I'm pretty particular about my final image and sometimes I think maybe I am too hard on myself about it. It is after all just Art. So, I hope you enjoy this piece. I like the Wasabi Green paint in this one. I don't use it very much. IMG_8494[1126].jpg

    something that may help you with the idea of being too busy is to make larger shapes that are thicker than the size of the brush, and letting those shapes stay until the very end without polluting them with additional marks.
    Another fun thing you can try is to use a limited colour palette (like a maximum of 3 colours)
    Most importantly, keep having fun painting and creating!! :)
