I am honored to have my new painting Dreaming with Nina up at the Sulamith Wulfing show in Solingen, Germany.
The show just opened last weekend on September 11th and will be up for a month.
Sulamith Wülfing, the great visionary from Wuppertal, would have celebrated her 120th birthday this year. On the occasion of this event, the Nautilus-Studio, a gallery for visionary, (pop) surreal and contemporary art in the beautiful old 'Luisenviertel' of Wuppertal, is honoring her fabulous work with a special exibition titled:
'Sulamith Wülfing-the forgotten daughter of the town.‘
Sulamith was best known for her illustrations of fairytales, and other children stories.
Our beautiful poster with her portrait:
The show was hung in the loft-gallery of artist Peter Azmann.
My piece, all hung and ready for the public.
A beautiful piece from @martina.hoffmann
The work of our very own Otto Rapp @thermoplastic
The marvelous Yvette Endrijautzki , captain of the Nautilus.
Artist Poul Dohle with Peter Azmann
Poul's two pieces:
The lovely Madeline von Foerster next to her piece and that of Benjamin Vierling.
A better shot of Madeline Von Foerster's piece.
Happy to see my books and cards on the table:
