Easter is just around the corner, which means the bunnies need to get busy hiding all those eggs. There are a million, trillion, guzillion chocolate eggs, of varying sizes and colours that need a special hiding place. The bunnies love nothing more then watching a child's face fill with delight when one of these tasty treats are found.
So, here's a little Easter time illustration I've been working on. In my sketckbook I painted greens and browns with watercolour paints in the shape of trees. Once dry, I drew in the trees using an artline pen, this process contains lots of lines, dots and squiggles. Then it's time for the bunnies, one by one they appear, helping each other hide those delicious chocolate eggs
I decided to try a little collage for the Easter eggs. Using parts of some lovely dresses out of a trashy magazine (sorry celebs), I careful cut out a number of egg shaped pieces and glued them on. I think it turned out okay, I like that the bunnies are showing their mischievous nature again.
My girls are so excited for Easter. Their favorite part is finding the eggs in the morning, there are usually a large number hidden inside the house (the easter bunny is way to generous). Once all the eggs are found, they hide the eggs again for each other, this game can go on for half the morning. Then it's chocolate for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Now what can my friends the 🐰🐇🐰🐇+🐻 get up to for their next adventure. Any ideas?
