A pill for this, a pill for that.
Over medicated mind that's where it's at
It just might drive you insane
When you no longer remember your name
Tell me do you think most doctors are to blame

Americans now a days are taking to much medicine, often casually when it is unnecessary prescribed by the wrong people for the wrong reasons, causing needless harm. In other words some doctors are getting a kickback by giving you prescriptions for medications you don't damn need by pharmaceutical companies. So you want be diligent ask a lot of questions make them explain everything to you in a language you understand and put up with no shit. Remembering your life is yours to control not theirs.

Reminds me of the Marilyn Manson song Coma White.

A pill to make you numb
A pill to make you dumb
A pill to make you anybody else
But all the drugs in this world
Won't save her from herself

I love the art, and the poem!

Also, it's so true that doctors are prescribing drugs just for the sake of prescribing them. People have become too dependent and want a "quick fix" for everything that they're willing to put these poisons into their bodies in order to feel a certain way (or not feel a certain way).

What most people don't realize is that by using drugs, the only thing you're doing is delaying the inevitable where you're going to have to deal with your problems and treat them properly!

That's right , if a person can avoid it they should. In my case l had congestive heart failure for over fourteen years. Even with a new heart l still have to take anti-rejection meditation for the rest of my life.

Yes. What more can I say. :( (Oh I can, love the art.)

Thank you very much.

This is so true and a huge problem in America! My father takes 12-15 meds a day. During a recent staffing change at the VA, a doctor told him he didn't need a diabetes medication he's been taking for years. He had borderline high blood sugar once during a visit years ago and instead of trying to manage the issue with dietary changes they just wrote a prescription. Patients (or their families) must advocate for themselves in our broken healthcare system today or they could end up damaged for life (or worse).

Yeah we have to stand up before they make us all Guinea pigs. Thank my brother.

That ids the truth! Thanks. I like your art work. 🐓🐓
