This actually is pure Art. Detailed, precise and true to life! I particularly like the one you taged "falling angel", you stood perfectly in the middle and it all looks plastic. Man, there are so many beautiful pieces of art. Were all of these in the same general vicinity too? Like, all in downtown? If so... man, I thought Atlanta had a cool art scene, but wow. Just beautiful.
Interesting to see their art from the outside looking in. One might think that they seemed obsessed with death, but I got something different from some of those pieces. It was almost like death can be beautiful, you know? Like, in the act of knowing that death is coming no matter what, it's almost like, why not live? You know?
I don't know. What I do know is that it's some amazing art work.

Cool stuff indeed. So much better than grey city stone buildings. The colourful murals remind me a bit of a visit to Berlin, the East side gallery, part of the old East/West German dividing wall, which is covered with murals from several artists. I must do a post on that sometime soon. Like this one, it'd hopefully make a good colouful post.
