RE: An unhappy Hallosteem ☻

You didn't respond to me on the "post" where I tagged @buildawhale. That's what I meant in what I wrote above.

You dm'd me on discord to ask why I removed your witness vote.

Here's my witness list. It's nothing personal against you. I decided I don't vote for witnesses who run bid bots anymore. Let's call it a conflict of interest. It conflicts with my values and vision for our blockchain.

But we did speak of it and told you how I felt. I have no problems with you removing your vote (as I said in our chat). I respect your decision, I just like to ask why so I know and I thanked you for telling me. But I did respond and took action just not the one you wanted. I'll bet you won't get even remotely close to that for 99% of the other bots.

Being the best of the worst still isn't good imo. <3 I think you're a good guy, I've heard you talk before, I actually like you. Your soul/spirit <3

Get out of the industry? You don't wanna be bag holding the bid bot industry :)

Ok, I get out of the industry, the stake I use for my bot will go to another bid bot owner that doesn't give a damn. We are now worse off. How does that help anyone?

I obviously am not against vote buying, every social media platform on the planet has advertising. But I will do my best to prevent shit from being rewarded, and try to encourage quality content with our daily Curation Digest

The root of the problem isn't bid bots, it is that the system at its core is broken and needs an overhaul.

Being the best of the worst still isn't good imo.

I beg to differ, there is far worse going on, you just may or may not be privy to it.

The evolution I see happening right now, is a movement towards curation teams and really looking at who the votes are going to first before voting. @steem-ua is a perfect example and there are more blooming up every day.

People will now delegate to these curation bots. This will benefit our ecosystem a lot because folks will be looking to power up and HODL Steem because they want to delegate to their community's curation bot.

@steem-ua is a perfect example and there are more blooming up every day.

LOL Steem-UA is a joke. It is heavily weighted to top witnesses who are active and not much more. Just compare the top 100 between them. @scipio is a liar and an unstable person. Steem-UA is the vote bot for people who don't like vote bots. People are blinded by reality because rep sucks so bad.

When I asked for access to the API so I can do due diligence by spot checking before integrating it, he lost his shit. He then started claiming I demanded access to the source code and banned me from Steem-UA Discord.

He claims he owns 1.5M liquid Steem hidden in the @holiday account but is trying to get @ned to give him delegation before he uses it. He has pissed off almost everyone who has dealt with him, and has harassed endless people and made very questionable comments about doing things in SF.

@scipio's vision and I quote is to have all Steem Power delegated to Steem-UA. He also feels all Discord's should be shut down and run through his Discord. He is so focused on delegation for curation rewards he has lost all objectivity.

You don't have to take my word for it, talk to anyone who has dealt with him.

That's just one example of where I see the attention flowing. The trend if you will.

@ocdb , @canna-curate , @earthtribe , @tribesteemup are some other examples of this trend.

I'm 100% for curation, and I love to see more projects. I delegate to C-Squared which is another good one, run one myself, and support a few others like @helpie. Unfortunately, most just don't have the SP to make a big difference.
