First post - so I figured I would share something that I recently built.

My inspiration comes from the world of steam, not the steem we have here, but steampunk. It's a unique style that typically combines mechanized instruments, like gears and pipes, into something overly ornate and complex while crafting artistic beauty. Well anyway, here's a bookshelf I built using copper pipes, and wood. What do you guys think? image.jpeg

Welcome to Steemit!

That's a pretty cool shelf (though it might be a good idea to give it a backplate, so stuff don't fall off so easily). Does it match the rest of your furniture?

Thanks. Doesn't really match much at all, but it doesn't clash with the room it's in. I've considered something along the back. Maybe a steel rod instead of something covering the back, but we'll see how the books will hold up.

nice work
