I'm pretty weak with realistic drawing as well, from what I can see I would have added more volume to the hair and lips ;) but the overall result is pretty good! But you're absolutely right, working on your weaknesses is the only way to improve them! :)

thank you Milooooo! :) i kinda hold myself back with the hair im affraid im gonna over do it and she would look different haha xD but you're totally right i should've added more. Yesssss you will only get one result if you challenge yourself and that is improvement :)
It sure is! Perhaps it could be an idea to built yourself a lightbox, just a box with a lamp in it and a glass or transparent flat piece of plastic which covers it all, so you can draw on a different sheet of paper overlapping the one you already have started a drawing on. Like this you don't touch the original drawing, and you can try different solutions ...I love it when I do the inking!
ohhhlalalalala you're a genius milo! i never thought of that i always stick with my original drawing and if i messed it up i'm done and there is no going back. im great with DIY too so i'm definitely gonna try that out :)
Hahaha naaaah,I am no genius, clever at the most XD try it and let me know, I'm pretty sure you'll have a lot of fun
