There are quite a lot of galleries in the center of Middelburg. But this one attracted my attention because it is in a cellar. So today I went to take a look.
Friendly owner / artist who told me that she paint all her portraits on wood. I think portraits are cool any way. But paintings made on wood naturally give a charm in itself.
I'm planning to go back again for more photos but here are a few pictures from today
Does she do this for a living? Or just hobby and some extra income?

I dont think she does this for a living. I din't ask that. My guess is that they own the house above. And this is just her hobby. But a nice hangout if you ask me. I would turn it into a stonercave :)

Plus she was in her zone. Just painting and talking to people who drop by. While on the background music from her old record player. i like that.👌

Indeed the basement/cellar is old. But the paintings just look old.

Interesting , never saw paintings on wood. But the rough surface gives the paintings a unique look!
