I received so many great responses and awesome interaction playing this game, I felt like starting a new season quite quickly, so here we are!
The very basics of The Vagabonds is this: these are small, original paintings of mine. I will post one new character every other day (so roundabout every 48 hours). To play the game, you can comment on the painting with:
- A unique first name for the character of your choice
- three random numbers between 1 and 9 (these will randomly determine from my pre-made lists:
- The character's positive trait
- The character's negative trait
- The character's Profession
- A unique superpower/item/weapon/artefact of your choice
So your comment could look like this:
Geoffrey, 7-6-5, Hammer of Chaos
I will reply to your comment with the outcome. In the example above this would/could determine your character as:
Geoffrey, the Helpful but Obese Monk with the Hammer of Chaos.
After (roundabout) 48 hours, I will close the submissions for that particular character, and post a new one. One winner from all the entries will be chosen (randomly, by dice) and that will be how that character will remain. I'm looking forward to fun and weird combinations - so, if possible, try to not choose numbers that have already been chosen - it makes it all the more fun (although I can't prevent you from choosing numbers already chosen, of course).
When we have 8 of these chosen mysterious Vagabonds, they will enter phase II of the game.
Of which I can't tell you anything yet, but it's going to be fun!
Anybody is free to comment - there's no need to upvote or resteem (although I really do appreciate those!). A valid comment will get my 100% upvote for sure, and possibly (as in Season I) get a bit of SBD transferred. Feel free to upvote other comments, especially if you like their weird and zany combination of positive and negative traits, identity and superpowers. Let's make this interactive and fun, ok?

Do you have difficulty thinking of a superpower/magical item/extraordinary weapon/amazing artefact? Think fantasy or sci-fi movies/books/stories/legends/fairytales/... It could be anything, just have fun with it! And if all that fails, just mention it in the comment, we'll think of something together!

The first Vagabonds-season, episode 1, started the whole shebang right here.

Differences from season I to season II:
Less options: I'm going from 13 options to 9, as I felt too many options weren't chosen.
Season I had for random numbers: adjective, profession and origin. I pretty much ran out of unique origins, so that was dumped for Season II. Positive/negative traits will be something to look out for in Phase II of this game (when all 8 Vagabonds are known and determined).
I also felt people had some difficulty in choosing a relationship towards another Vagabond and it sometimes leaned more towards a Profession, so I skipped the Relationship-entry
