Ragner Lothbrok - From The Movie; Viking

When the going gets though and you try to back down, remember how far you've gone.

I tried drawing Ragner the character from Viking movie series but I wasn't satified with the out, though the resemblance is there.

After the sketch, I discovered I made a few mistakes along the line but there was eraser to correct this...I proceeded anyway and it turned out this. I was able to adjust a few things though.

Gonna love to work on this character some other time.

My first step is usually to draw an outline - indicating the shape of the face.

Then, is start to build my forms amd making some adjustments in the process. The flat surface it was before start having values.

Till a recognizable face with forms appears. A few touches on the shirt as well to complete it.
