Here in Norway, spring has finally officially arrived, and as the days grow longer and everything feels a bit more energized so does my creativity!
Even though all my planned exhibits have been postponed this year, I feel like painting around the clock and I'm craving COLORS!
Lately, I've been making a lot of studies of animals and nature for a new series of paintings I'm planning called, ''Terra Mater''.
It's a project I'm very excited about as it links my love for painting with my deep appreciation and admiration for nature.
In connection with my new painting series, I recently finished a new, smaller-sized painting of my all-time favorite bird, the Robin.
I filmed a little bit as I was painting and then I put together a video where I explain some of the process behind the painting and the materials I used to make it.
