Today I wanted to share my most recent painting of a small Goldfinch lady;

This painting I spent a day and a half painting and it's inspired by Carel Fabritius's painting, "The Goldfinch".
The painting is quite small, only 18 x 13 cm.
I'm thinking of making a small series of birds like this and next up I think I'll paint a Robin.
