Most of these are from my Microsoft Surface, done on the bus, or on flights. Sometimes these days it can be hard to sit and sketch freely because I'm distracted by the "real work" I need to do. But on the bus or on a flight, I'm doomed to just sit there anyway, so I don't have to worry about anything else. Drawing some low stress doodles is usually the recipe for me to zone out and have the flight "fly by"(see what I did there). Anyway, look! Drawings!

Very cool. I wish I could draw.
Thanks @davidwarlow! You've already got step one down, step two is just doing it. You'll suck at first, but less and less with each new drawing :)

Cool collection, @midlet! I especially like the lovely, smooth shading... it has fantastic texture. Would be lovely to observe you working on it!
Thanks @shinyforest! I did upload one video of me painting on dtube, but it sort of messed up so the bulk of it didn't record. I'll definitely add some in the future though :)
Hello I love your drawing, great technique, I also draw, I invite you to my block
Thanks @darita84! I'll check you out for sure :)
Aye, it always is nice to zone out on such a transportion. Lovely doodles. I think my favorite one is the guy with beard and jacket - he's one of the most detailed doodles you have done. Although all of them are still great because they're so expressive. I love that. :)
Cheers!

Thanks @dm7! I was seeing that guy as some sort of drifter, a charmer, but with a shady past :p
Haha yeah I can see why he could be a drifter with a shady past. ;) Again, nice stuff you got there! Cheers!

I'm constantly getting frustrated with my Surface and going back to pencils. So it's nice to see somebody with the skill level I'd like to have someday. (Not that I'm that good with pencils either.) Inspiration to keep trying.
Thanks @tcpolymath! Glad you find these inspiring. I'm not sure what you're drawing with on the Surface, but I actually found that the super simple Notes app ended up working best for me. I have Photoshop on there, but I have a really hard time because I need to press buttons with Photoshop. The notes app is really bare bones and the pencil there actually feels pretty nice. Good luck! Keep at it :)
