Back to my old tricks. Not really much of a plan going in, just sort of found the concept as I went. In the end, I felt like it has elements of stars and nebula feels. I could probably take it into After Effects and screw with it until it looked like one I bet, maybe that will be a post update later. Here's what it looks like in Cinema.
On an unrelated note, something I've been thinking about lately, and I thought I'd throw the question out there for everyone else. How high would Steem need to get before you would cash some out? Not your liquid if you hold onto any, but your Steem Power, or would you ever?
I was thinking at $50. It would be pretty difficult not to take some profit, but I imagine if Steem was $50, then everyones current upvote value would be something like 65x, so maybe I'd just post more and not power up some of the liquid SBD. I like to dream of the glorious future in the bear market :D
Anyway, thanks for looking peeps!
I am at retirement age. I have a 3 year goal. At $25.00, I would take half. Anything left can go to the children and grandchildren.
When it comes to cashing out SP, I set a four year plan two years ago. I guess I'll see where we're at in 2 years.
My vote was worth $20 at one point, so I guess if we reach those highs again, my vote would be worth even more. 50 dollar STEEM? I'm sure I'd start pulling a salary out. Take advantage of the highs, but wait for the floor, which would probably be higher than this floor we seem to be experiencing today. Maybe wait for the next wave to do something drastic. Shit, I'm still young. Too early to retire, but I did plan to retire young. I don't know. I'll see when I get there.
That's interesting, I was thinking maybe around 4 years from now would be a good evaluation point. If SMT's come out on time, at the end of the day they're just a tool, and it will take time for people to use that tool to make stuff, and then there's the inevitable chaos of winners winning and losers losing until there's just the main winners left.
Then I think there's our reliance on the maturation of the greater cypto market. I think that will probably take another two years(if we're lucky) to become easy enough for the masses. It should be interesting!
Damn, your vote used to be $20? I think when I started you might have been in the $4-$5 range, so I guess I missed the glory days, haha.
I can't see SMT's hurting STEEM. I do see hype .and a lot of money currently locked up in our economy here, going into a few flops, which is unfortunate and I, for the most part, will be staying away from SMT's until there's something solid to invest in. Many won't do that. They'll see a trending page advertisement disguised as a helpful blog post, and get burned. I don't want to be one of those people who gets burned. There will be a new shitcoin produced daily though.
Maybe I'll be able to hold my SP, use it as a tool like I do now, and earn some passive income delegating RC's away. I don't need 48,624,165,087,597 RC's. I assume that can be valuable in the near future, without sacrificing my SP, so maybe there's money there.
I'm in no real hurry, but, big but... this waiting game is not easy.
Well maybe 10-20 for me. But i have little steempower so it won't be much. But if the place ever goes that high i might slash my steempower into two equal halves and liquidate one
Shoooooot, let Steem get to bout thur-teen bucks. Shoooooooot. LOL
