Hello, GREEN!

I was very happy to find this interesting material and, at the same time, challenged to use it in one of my jewelry! First time I heard about Iceland Moss was in interior decorations, used for 'living walls', as a plant that never dries.

Iceland moss (Cetraria islandica ) is a lichen (a moss-like plant) that grows on the ground in mountains, forests, and arctic areas. In addition to Iceland, the lichen is found in Scandinavia, Great Britain, North America, Russia, and other areas in the Northern Hemisphere. Iceland moss also grows in Antarctica.
The plant's thallus (shoot) curls from 1–4 in (2.5–10 cm) tall. The dried thallus is used as an herbal remedy. Iceland moss is also known as Iceland lichen, cetraria, fucus, muscus, and eryrngo-leaved (spiny-leaf) liverwort.

But more than a living structure of our home, I considered to make this color even 'more immortal'… in my own way! Nature Art jewelry! It doesn't need to be taken care of with water and light, it's just needed to fit with our favourite outfit and worn in a regular day of joy!

Being a plant with a little volume, as you can see in the picture, I preferred work it in silicone molds of different shapes like flowers and hearts. The moss 'woke up to a new life' when in resin and this is the thing I love to this plant 💓 it was not very hard to work with and I'm planning to experiment more with it...

For now, two flowers of the same kind, of different dimensions🍀
2,4 cm and 3.1cm

Beautiful work as always! I like moss as a material- i have a few boxes of dried moss I raked out of our lawn last summer. I have no idea what I will use it for but it was just too pretty to put on the compost heap!

Hey, lady♡
Kinda missed you, been so crazy lately with holidays and Christmas Fair!
Very happy to be back!

Keep the moss because you don't know what idea comes in sometime...
An idea... to use some of it as a 'stamp' for your paintings, to get maybe an I interesting texture when needed.

Love and hugs!

It's like being in nature at home !! A real breath of oxygen!

Wonderful! Resteemed <3

Thank you, lovely girl 💓

I've seen so late your comment when you told me about receiving the jewelry!
I'm always very nervous untill the orders arrive to their destination, because I just wait to get feedback...
I'm so happy you liked it and, at the same time, honored that my jewelry found it's way to such beautiful people💌

Quedo muy bonito.
