<3 Happy Birthday, Love! <3 [I painted You something...]

I would like to show You this painting that I made for my boyfriend's @crocangaroo birthday that was about a month ago. I wanted to upload it to Steemit earlier but last month was one short and busy month so I'm showing You this now!

To understand why I painted this I need to tell You something about our New Years (2017.) Celebration Week :)

We decided that we really don't want to be in the capital city of Croatia (Zagreb) where we live because there is no peace here during the New Year's (even though we live on the peripheral part of the city, on the countryside). There is too much fuss, fireworks, firecrackers, noise... We needed to get out, to experience the wilderness. To dance and laugh with the sound of healing music as we used to (back in the life when we were Native Americans...as I saw in one of my first visions).

We decided to go in Eia, eco and art permacultural village in Istria, Croatia near the Sea that is healing us from inside out!

Our host was Igor, one very amazing men who traveled the world without a penny, sometimes without any material possessions. We really learned a lot from him! I will tell You more about his oasis of Peace and Love (Eia) in some of my next posts if You wish to hear about it, now I will just tell You the crucial part for how and why this painting was made.

I must mention, our friend (Domina) came with us to Eia too. One evening, we were at Igor's place and he asked us if we would like to have a guided meditation. We were thrilled, of course, and accepted his proposal. We lay down and he started talking to us, relaxing us with his words, relaxing our whole body directing our conscience on breathing. When he saw we were completely relaxed he started the Guided Meditation.

We entered the cave going down the spiral staircase. We carried the torch that lighted our way. When we got to the bottom of the cave we entered another room where he said that our ''Power Animal'' or our ''Animal Totem'' might appear. He left us for a while to look around, experience our visions asking us from time to time what is the message, what is the point etc. After a while he told us to say our goodbyes and to start getting out of that room that we are in and to start climbing up the stairs. We ended our visions and started waking up.

What an amazing and extraordinary experience. After a while we started talking about what we experienced.

Now I'll tell You only what my boyfriend told us what he experienced because It's why I painted this painting. He told us that he started to feel the warming, itchy feeling around the places on his head where horns should be and that afterwards he saw a deer. He was confused and shocked but I knew! He met him! His Power Animal is a Deer! Awesome! (because it totally describes him) :)

This is the process of me making this painting for him:

I painted it with acrylic colors on a 300 g paper.

painting is done! The stars connected with lines that I drew on the night Sky are in Aquarius constellation because that's my Love's horoscope sign. And the Moon on the Night Sky is still Young and so are we :D

I've decided to frame it for him so I bought this handmade wooden frame (as I didn't had the time to make my own handmade wooden frame...)

I cut out the surplus of the painting to fit this A4 format frame.

Here is the rest of the framing process. I've placed the painting onto the glass, put the cork background on it and consolidated it with metal pins that came with the frame. It even had two little hangers depending if the frame should be hanged vertical or horizontal. Awesome and so thoughtful!
