Big Ben is a bell at the Westminster Palace's northern bell tower in London, United Kingdom. The bell was cast in 1856 and started in 1859. Big Ben is officially named Great Bell of Westminster and strikes every hour in the tower with the official name Great Clock of Westminster. The tower, which since 2012 is called Elizabeth Tower, where the watch is 96.3 meters high.
The Tower (English: Tower of London or Official Her Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress) is a medieval royal castle on the northern shore of the Thames in London, whose long-term functions were to be a fortress, a royal palace and a prison, especially for high-ranking prisoners such as the Prince of the Tower and the future Queen Elizabeth I. The tower was a royal residence until the beginning of the 17th century.
London Eye is a ferris wheel in London, which is celebrating the turn of the millennium (1999-2000). It is located on the south side of the Thames. At the top you find 170 meters above the ground and have about 40 kilometers of views in all directions. London Eye was opened on December 31, 1999 at 8:00 pm, but could not be put into operation for the public until March 2000 due to technical problems.
I am applying for summer school this year at King's College London, so let's see if I get an acceptance letter. If that works out then definitely I am going to have fun and explore London a lot.
