Hello friends Steemians, I want to present you this work you do for the contest @melooo182 that in this case is about insects, something that catches my attention because there are incredible specimens with adaptations that seem surreal sometimes, as if they were small aliens.
I decided to make this post in order to thank @ melooo182 for doing these contests where we allow artists within the community to have a greater reach to publicize our work and to also have that same possibility with my blog and arrive not only to Spanish speaking people but to the whole community in general, win the second place and I thank for it and the opportunity to participate.
On this occasion design a bee that sustains the world because, in reality, they are; these little friends are the ones that balance the balance in all the ecosystems of the biosphere, by pollinating all the flowers and plants so that they keep reproducing and thus continue to provide food for all other species, because if the bees become extinct, the next they would be the plants, later the herbivorous animals, the carnivorous animals would follow them and, in the end, the whole humanity or there would be food to satisfy the demand of the world population.
"In the movie The Happening (The Incident / The End of Time), by M. Night Shyamalan, he picked up a sentence attributed to Albert Einstein that says" If the bee disappeared from the planet, the man would only have 4 years to live " This quote is the most interesting and terrifying at times like those we are experiencing today in the world.
In the movie they say something very true ... if you want to pay attention to something, there is nothing better than putting it in the mouth of someone recognized and respected.
Read that if the bees disappear, we will follow him in 4 years, it is without a doubt terrifying, and if Einstein said it, still more. And if we add, that the bees are disappearing ... reality is the best scary movie. "
The following definition was extracted from wikipedia:
(Anthophila, gr. 'That love flowers'), commonly known as bees, are a clade of hymenopteran insects, with no location in the taxonomic category, within the Apoidea superfamily. It is a monophyletic lineage with more than 20 000 known species. The bees, like the ants, evolved from wasps. The ancestors of the bees were members of the Crabronidae family and were insect predators. It is possible that the first bees have fed on the pollen that covered some of their prey and that, gradually, they have begun to feed their young with pollen instead of insects.
Bees are distinguished from apoid wasps by mushrooms or hairs that cover their body which, in the case of bees, are feathery and branched. The females of most bees have organs to carry pollen, called barnacles or corbels, usually in the hind legs or in the ventral region of the abdomen. There are also differences in the distribution of the posterior wing veins. In females, the seventh dorsal abdominal plate is subdivided into two.
Use for this work the Adobe Illustrator since it seems easier for monochromatic works where you need a lot of precision and that the lines look solid and defined, using the brush tools (some that bring the software, others downloaded for free), ellipse, pen, eraser and at the end the text tool for the signature. I also had the help of a Wacom tablet that I borrow from a friend but that I do not have at this time.
Here I leave some exports of the artistic process:

With much admiration, make this design inspired by these small animals that the universe in its immense wisdom evolved to hold the earth, literally on its back and wings. I hope you like it, thank you for watching, commenting, voting and resteem.
