Growing garden
I created a new drawing today called 'Plant Sprites', it was inspired by my garden which is full of young plants, fresh shoots, and saplings bursting out through the soil.
Drawing the sprites
The image of the sprites and plants was drawn onto the paper using a dip pen and drawing inks.
Then layers of ink and water were added with a brush to create areas of subtle tone.
The final stage was to add water and ink to the bottom of the image and then turn it upside down so the ink could run across the paper to create the impression of grasses.
I like many those goblins watching behind the plants, the images of your garden transports me, it seems to be in the place and feel the aroma of the silvers and the wet earth, felcitations for this beautiful and creative work dear friend @opheliafu
I wish you a wonderful evening
I was inspired by the creation of this image too, and i have begun to write a small story about its main character.
I love this and of course the inspiration, as I'm garden mad. And I see a lovely hellebore there with dew droplets on.
Yes, i have a few varieties of hellebores. Maybe a future post inspiration!
cuando hacemos acuarelas sentimos la libertad de no tener lineas perfectas, no se controla la forma como tal, aparecen texturas y trazos que dan un nuevo sentido a nuestro trabajo. viva la liberta de inspiración.
when we do watercolors we feel the freedom of not having perfect lines, the form is not controlled as such, textures and strokes appear that give a new meaning to our work. live the freedom of inspiration.
Yes, my style with using inks is very similar to how i paint with watercolours- floating the ink across the water on the page to create tones and pattern.
Wow, me gusta mucho esto, me guta bastante el acuarela y realmente me gustaría poder intentarlo, buen trabajo.
I'm sure you could do the same sort of thing with watercolors.
Nice work @opheliafu, very creative :D
Thank you @gavinthegreat :D
a picture and a very good painting, full of art.
I really admire the people who can draw.. It is for me a very inspirational ability. You observe the things around you and create something with your inspiration like in this picture. Good job..
Thank you @ellaironheart, I find daily inspiration from the things around me.
That's pretty cool, love how you did the grass.
I felt it needed some darker areas of tone and this way worked well I think.
I'd be nervous about "ruining" the rest with the drips, but you nailed it!
