RE: Scribble Man

Yay! I saw you on there, I'm waiting for you to get drawing ;D A few of us Steemians are doodling together on DADA.
I wonder if we can share some of our drawings on our Steemit blogs- we will have to check with DADA?

It takes a while to get used to the drawing tools, and not having layers, but I'm actually starting to like the simplicity of the tools- it makes me rethink about how I lay down line and colour. I got my graphics tablet about a year ago, but it's only really with DADA that I have picked it up and started to experiment more with digital drawing. I would also recommend playing around with the opacity settings of the brushes, and using the eraser to work into blocks of colour.

I love the idea of sharing our 'doodles' on DADA at Steemit. Feel that DADA and Steemit can really compiment each other and can't really see that DADA would object. As far as I know, DADA wouldn't have exclusivity of an artist's imagery. Hope it's not in the fine print, now that I've said that. 😊

I've been experimenting with the tools again today. Love the transparent effects you can achieve with the opacity tool. And love the effects of using the rubber to cut back into colours too.

Have an old model ipad, just need to buy a digital pen for it. Been looking the Wacom tablets. If only. 🙏

Till I have the pen, I'll play with the dots. Hoping to join you and Alex really soon Ophelia. 🦋

I have a wacom too and don't know if I could do without it, when I bought my wacom (some years ago) it was one of very few options on the market and very expensive, people say is the best but still too expensive in my view , so I think you should look at other smaller brands too

The top of the range wacoms look amazing. Being able to purchase one a few years ago sounds like it was a really good investment.

Will be on my Wishlist for now. Hopefully the apple pen will be enough to start DADA with. If not, I'll go to a few stores to see what other options there are. 🙏

be ok for now. I worked with computer graphics with an Amiga computer when

DaDa allows us to share our drawings on other social platforms, so sure you can share on steemit, I have tree posts already about my dada drawings, the only thing I am not sure about is sharing the parts of the drawing that are not painted by you, and I am very inclined to share the progression on one of the drawings I started and was continued by other amazing artists. I love how everyone used the same colors and theme "Gustav Klimt" but the entire collection looks 1000 times better than just my piece

Your piece is amazing.
I'm still working out how to share my DADA on twitter as it only wants to tweet the link address for me- do you copy and paste the image address too when you post?

on twitter I shared only the links, dough I think dada shared more from my work than me :)) I am really not that into social media except steemit and now dada, but yes you can copy the image and share it separately too

The share for Twitter gives the link for the whole conversation. I tried to find a way to get a link for the individual image but couldn't. So I had to capture Ophelia's image in order to share it here.

Yes, the collaboration around your work is amazing Alex. I love how new ideas can be generated when we run with something that someone else has done. Ideas that may not have come to us otherwise. Such a rewarding process for all.

the problem with sharing the entire conversation on steemit (apart from twitter)is that on steemit I will be collecting rewards, so it will be like a commercial purpose almost, but my hope is that the artists there will join steemit too and we can split post rewards :D
