Well it started off as a nice day and they were hanging out at a party, enjoying the sunshine. Then it started to rain and snow. Before they knew it they were whisked away from their Pina coladas and vol-au-vents (they live in the 80's) and were heading into stormy weather.

Oh yes, that makes sense. I would feel the same without Pina colada.
In the 80s, no cell phones to call for help either. I like the 80s more as an adult.
