This is commissioned art work created for a residence in Quito Ecuador. The owners wanted a piece for their dining room that was not the traditional still life. So I imagined these fruits with their own personality. Bright colors and subreal figures give the subject elements of happiness and joy. Two dried leaves picked from the rain forest were collaged to the work of art as a transition between nature and art. These fruits exist in the artist's world.
The green color of the background makes me think of tranquility and happiness at the same time.
